Biographical Summary
Bailey Landry received her undergraduate degree in Geography from Louisiana State University in 2021. During her time at Louisiana State University, she was a student researcher for the ASPIRE Internship Program. Her research was focused on gathering and analyzing death graphics from eighteenth century Dutch slave ship logbooks to be sent to the Historical Geographic Information System. She presented her research at the Southwest Division of the American Association of Geographers in October of 2021. She joined the Center for Analytics in Transportation Safety in 2022 as a GIS Analyst I, where she applies the skills she acquired in school to perform location data review and GIS analysis for improving crash data and roadway safety.
